The entrance examinations season have started...
Students are facing the ultimate challenge as they have started preparing for their engineering, medical and management.
It is the time when our knowledge and perseverance is put to test.

These are the few days that can turn the fortunes for you if your preparation is on the right track. This phase is crucial and one should make best use of this time to maximize one's chances of a top rank.

Rule 1. Mugging wont help... Be it a engineering entrance exam or medical, try to increase your subject knowledgewith minimal questions on analytical abilities and aptitude.

Rule 2. Answer the questions that you know first. Remember, even a single mark makes a difference to the final rank and decides the choice of the course and college. Be sure to attempt all question, IF there is no negative marking, suppose negative marking is being given then its better to leave the unfamiliar questions untouched.

Rule 3. Entrance exams usually have multiple choice questions so its better to first eliminate the wrong ones and confirm the correct one since you have sufficient time.(if you are choosing only one choice out of all in a section (i know some people do that), be sure it is either b or c, the probabilty of these two being the right answer is higher than the rest)

Rule 4. Be sure of the exam format and the kind of questions, and parts of the curriculum that can help you safely answer enough questions.

Rule 5. A common mistake is that students don't read the question totally. Each question should be read for 15 seconds.

Rule 6. Don't read all the subjects everyday and don't study between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. as six hours of continuous sleep is must during this crucial period.

Rule 7. During last days, don't touch any new topic as they are meant for consolidating. Divide time to read the best topics.

Rule 8. During the last 24 hours of the test, a student has 10 hours, which he or she has to divide for all the subjects.

Rule 9. Don't read three hours before the test.
